Qatar Airways Resumes Full Operations to Key Middle East Destinations

Exciting news for travelers in the Middle East! Qatar Airways has announced the resumption of its full flight operations to several key destinations in Iraq, Lebanon, and Jordan. This move marks a significant step towards the restoration of normal travel routes in the region.

 

 

Return to Iraq

Following the reopening of Iraqi airspace, Qatar Airways is set to resume a comprehensive schedule of flights. Operations will recommence to and from the following airports:

  • Baghdad (BGW): Resuming from 30 June 2025
  • Erbil (EBL): Resuming from 1 July 2025
  • Sulaymaniyah (ISU): Resuming from 2 July 2025
  • Najaf (NJF): Resuming from 3 July 2025
  • Basra (BSR): Resuming from 30 June 2025

Full Schedule to Lebanon & Jordan

Travelers to and from Lebanon and Jordan can also look forward to the resumption of a full flight schedule.

  • Beirut, Lebanon (BEY): Full operations to Beirut-Rafic Hariri International Airport will resume from 1 July 2025.
  • Amman, Jordan (AMM): Full operations to Queen Alia International Airport will resume from 1 July 2025.

While services to these destinations are being restored, Qatar Airways has stated that flights to Iran and Syria remain temporarily suspended. Passengers are advised to check the latest travel updates and flight statuses on the official Qatar Airways website.
